Hi there! My name is Kortney Newmans, and I am the owner at Uniquely Southern Boutique. I am a wife to the greatest guy in the world, mother to two blue eyed baby girls, and live in my hometown Atkinson County.

Prior to the establishment of Uniquely Southern, my husbands family was the owner of Uptown Girls boutique in Pearson. I had always dreamed of being a business owner and had the opportunity to purchase and continue the family inspiration of having a boutique in the same location. I have always had a heart for fashion, so I decided to take a leap of faith and open my own store. Suddenly my dream became reality and it all came to life. With the love, help and support of my family, I opened my store in 2017; with a passion to create a one of a kind shopping experience. My desire is to create a store where women of all ages, shapes, sizes and budgets could find their dream outfit. Not just the perfect dress, but the shoes, earrings, and purse needed to make it the outfit of your dreams. I knew I wanted to create fashion that was obtainable to everyone, because I believe that a woman's outfit strongly impacts how they feel. Everyone deserves to feel beautiful, and that is what I sought to create. Uniquely Southern has honestly grown into something I dreamed of but never fathomed it would be and I’m so very thankful for all the support we have been given. With the growth and expansion of Uniquely Southern, it wouldn’t of been possible without the love and support of both families.

I currently have 4 employees that plays a very special role here with us. I am so thankful for what I get to do each and every day, and the team we have in place that I consider family. I am very blessed with my staff and I am so proud to call them mine!
